Community Service
At CEC, we’re committed to making meaningful changes, both through our work with federal agencies, supporting local organizations, and volunteering in our communities across the country.
CEC supports our employees to volunteer their time in community engagement and service activities, like helping Veterans, promoting diversity and equity, collecting donations for area food banks and more.
Cecelia is passionate about dogs, and especially large breeds, and the company and many employees support these animal rescue groups:
Big Dog Rescue Project, or BDRP, is a small close knit group of independent dog rescuers that came together to form an organization devoted to saving dogs from the multitudes of high kill shelters in the DFW area. We specialize in saving large breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters. Led by all volunteers, they are devoted to the cause of improving the quality of life for those dogs discarded and forgotten.
Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue (AGPR) rescues, rehomes, and places Great Pyrenees dogs within Virginia, Maryland, D.C., and parts of West Virginia. We unite Great Pyrenees dogs with their prospective new homes. We also help reunite lost dogs with their owners and provide guidance for those folks who think that they might need to find a home for their Great Pyrenees.
